When I first saw this piece last January at Market, I immediately knew that it would be on my list of personal projects to stitch! Pepperberry Designs always has the cutest Christmas ornaments (have you seen Charlie’s ornament for this year?)- and this design certainly was no exception!

I stitched the background in Petite Silk Lamé Braid #SP02 and used the “Trellis Darning Pattern” (that can be found in the book Stitches to Go!)
The red of the “Ho” was stitched using Petite Very Velvet #V631, and a simple Basketweave Stitch.
Santa’s Belt was Satin Stitched using Neon Rays #N01.
I attached the Sundance Size #14 Beads #471 around the belt buckle in a Horizontal Cross Stitch pattern.
I attached the Sundance Size #14 Beads #471 for the ^3 in a Classic Tent Stitch Pattern.
