Happy Monday, everyone! I wanted to share some finishing fun with you all to kick off the new week. This sweet Kathy Schenkel “Santa” ornament that just came back from the finisher. At just 2 x4, this was a super quick stitch, and an easy way to use up some threads from the stash!
I Satin Stitched the letters in Flair so that they would pop off the canvas. The background is done in Skip Tent with Petite Silk Lame Braid. The star is beaded, as are the red dots on the canvas. My favorite part though is the little Santa hat on the letter “S”. It was stitched in Diagonal Mosaic using Petite Very Velvet and then I attached a cute little jingle bell on the end of it!
