Good morning everyone! Happy 2nd day of the New Year!
Market is only a week away, so I decided it was the perfect time to make sure I finished up some of my stash before I leave. I’m bound to want to stitch all my new projects as soon as they come in, so now seemed like a good time to tie up some lose ends and finish up some oldies, but goodies!
The first piece that I finished in 2015 was this Kate Dickerson purple and turquoise letter round. I absolutely love the color palate that Kate uses in her designs- whimsical yet sophisticated. The letters in the middle of the rounds are all perfect to be satin stitched in Flair or beaded!

I’m still debating how I want to finish it. These little rounds that Kate designs fit perfectly into the Lee round travel jewelry cases. I would love to see it situated right on the top as a part of the box’s lid. On the other hand, I might have it finished as a Christmas ornament with a hard gusset on the side and little bows. (Just like my Associated Talent Starfish). Let me know what you all think in the comments below… I am so torn!
The second piece I finished this morning was this 3 inch Lee Army Round. Nice and simple! The same ornament is also available for the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. I think it would make a perfect beginner project, for any Army friends out there who have never stitched before.

I’m definitely having this finished as an ornament. I think it will be perfect on my tree.
I know they’re only little projects, but it’s nice to feel like I’ve already accomplished something in 2015!
