Snow Day Stitching!

Hey everyone! I hope you all are staying warm wherever you are!

We had a snow day Friday and Saturday here in North Carolina. We didn’t get anywhere near as much snow as you all in the North East did (or much as I’m used to, having gone to school in Boston for four years!)- but we had some nasty freezing rain. With both Fort Bragg and closed Friday, James and I were both able to work from home. I was glad not to have to leave the house when the weather was so gross!

In light of the recent weather, I wanted to share this sweet little Associated Talents Snowman with you all. He just came back from the finisher this past week, and I think he’s really adorable. There was a lot of room to use many fun embellishments on his hat- drop beads worked perfectly for this! As did Spiders, Cross Stitches, Rhodes Stitches and Smyrna Crosses, for the remaining areas. Of course he also needed a bright orange carrot nose. Flair worked perfectly here in Satin Stitches.

The ornament itself is finished with a 3/8 inch gusset using a white ribbon- to match my Christmas Candy Ornaments! As always, thank you to for the wonderful finishing!
