Holiday Spirit

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

James got home from a month of training just before the holiday, so the two of us had planned on just keeping things low-key at home. It’s a good thing we did, because we both woke up sick as a dog on Thanksgiving with the flu! Talk about bad timing… especially when we had cooked all this delicious food!

By Saturday we were feeling well enough to head out of the house for a little while to pick out a Christmas tree. We ended up going to a cute little local Christmas tree farm right near Fort Bragg that had an excellent selection of trees to choose from. Now, I know it’s still early to be decorating, but we couldn’t resist getting in the holiday spirit!

Here are a few pictures of our tree all decked out for the holidays…

Burnett and Bradley Mini Stocking Club

Hey everyone! I hope you all have been well since I last wrote!

James and I are having the best time down here in North Carolina. It’s definitely been an adjustment from life in the North East- but we’re really loving being down south! James is almost six months into his time at Fort Bragg, and as worried as I was about all the moving parts or our transition, our plans really couldn’t ended up working out more perfectly! I feel extremely lucky to say that I’m now working full-time for Elizabeth Bradley and Needlepoint.com in Raleigh, North Carolina as their Head of Education!
(You can find me teaching in the shop most Wednesday mornings!)

I wanted to share the upcoming club I have designed for Needlepoint.com. Six Mini-Stockings by Burnett & Bradley. They came back from the finisher just a little bit ago and I was so pleased with how they turned out. The best part about them, is that they come with an alphabet chart, so that you can personalize them for your friends and family.
(See James’s name there on the bright green one?!)
