By far the most rewarding thing that I have gotten out of blogging is the community of stitchers I’ve had the pleasure of “meeting” all over the country!
Yesterday afternoon, I got the kindest email from Lu Lu, who lives in Louisiana. It absolutely made my day! I truly love hearing from you all- wherever you may be!
Earlier this year, Lu Lu ordered my stitch guide for Party in the Coop- as you all can see she has done an absolutely amazing job. All of the chickens are stitched, she just has to finish up the hats and they will be done!
For slightly fuller coverage, she stitched her french knots closer together on their cockscombs. I think the effect is wonderful. Stitch Guides are… well, just as the name suggests… guides! I think it’s so cool to see the little ways everyone’s project takes on a slightly different personality to reflect their taste.
She was sweet enough to send me pictures to share with you all!
Hasn’t she done a beautiful job?
I still have a bit of a pinch me moment every time someone orders a guide. There’s nothing I love more than sharing the joy of stitching with you all- both near and far!
If you would like to order your own copy of Party in the Coop- just shoot me an email! firstname.lastname@example.org . I’d be happy to pop one in the mail to you, anytime!
