Hey everyone! Happy Monday!
I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet lately, but half way through my trip to Ft. Benning my computer stopped holding battery (yikes!) I didn’t want to bother you all with half-hearted, poorly formatted posts, written on my cell phone, so I took a little break! I have to say, it was kind of nice to be removed from the laptop for a while. But now everything’s fixed, I’m glad to be back in business and be able to write to you all once again… I’ve truly missed it!
Things have been very busy, but since I last wrote, I finished up the stitch guide for Melissa Shirley’s “Who ate all the Hor d’Oeuvres?”
When I saw this piece at market, I knew I had to stitch it!
I think that squirrel is just the cutest- he looks so guilty!
My last two years of high school were spent boarding at the Interlochen Arts Academy– a performing arts school in Michigan (Did you guys know I was a music major in college?) One of the many quirky things that makes Interlochen the place it is are the black squirrels. I used to think they were the funniest things I had ever seen… You could often find them running across campus, dragging an entire piece of pizza, or a cookie from the cafeteria- I kid you not! Such little piggies! Ever since then I have had an odd affinity for them.
The stitch guide can be ordered by emailing me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the contact page on the blog. I will then set up a PayPal invoice, and once that has been paid, I will ship the guide directly to you!
Thank you all for reading along! And as always… Happy Stitching!
